Prospectus and Application

This event will be held under a giant tent. Rain or shine. 

Application Submissions Deadline: April 30th, 2024
Application Fee: $10.00
Notification Date: Week of May 27th, 2024

Eligibility: 
The show is open to visual artists who live and work within a 25 mile radius of Charlotte, NC.
Participants must be over the age of 18, working in fine art or fine craft medium. Entries must be original works of art that have been completed within the last 3 years. You must have a Sales Tax ID to participate as a vendor. 

Application:
A $10 non-refundable application fee, charged at the time of application, is required to be
considered for acceptance into the show. The application deadline is April 30th, 2024. Your
application will not be considered until your fee is received.

Acceptance:

  • You will be notified if invited to participate the week of May 27th, 2024. If accepted, the booth fee will be due one week after notification date.  After that date, no refunds will be issued if requested.

  • Selected artists will be charged $50 for GCA members and $75 for non-members for a 10x10ft space with a 6ft table and chair or $60 for GCA members and $85 for non-members for a 10x10ft space with an 8ft table and chair. There is a limited amount of these 2 sizes of tables available. So those who register first will have their first pick. Due to limited space, we will accept up to 42 artists.

  • Anything else needed for display (easels, display walls, table cloth etc.) can be brought by the artists. There is plenty of free parking. There will be no power outlet outside.

Submissions can be in any medium, including painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, illustration, Digital, Fiber Arts, Glass and Mosaic, Leather, Sculpture, Wood, Pottery, etc. The theme for the exhibition is open, encouraging a wide range of artistic expression, and suitable for all audiences, including young children.

Important Information for Participating Artists::

  • Please note the guild is not liable for any damages to artwork during the event. To ensure your work is fully protected, we highly recommend obtaining artist insurance

  • To create a cohesive and visually appealing atmosphere, we kindly ask that all artists cover their tables with white tablecloths (plastic or fabric are both acceptable).

  • We encourage artists to offer a variety of artwork, including original pieces and high-quality prints.

  • Artists are responsible for managing their own sales and are required to provide payment options for customer convenience. This may include Square, Venmo, PayPal, or other similar services.
